Yes, because Instagram is where it happens for people who love to nerd-it large-style on interiors.
My blog truly suffers badly when I am busy, but my Instagram account not so much.
Quick and fun, it has been a surprisingly interesting place in the way it has connected me in real life with passionate people with bold style.
The team of three behind @Boutique1854, is one of these joyful finds. We had a lovely chat in their quite unusual offices in Montebello in Oslo – you need to go see it. Numerology and “boutique” as in small and exquisite at affordable prices.
Plus they know how to change the feel of a room entirely by rearranging the furniture and removing (yup, ought to happen) stale style.
Follow them on Facebook to find out more and why you should care! They are a little bit crazy, but they know their design, and they definitely know their design sources well.
Another new and true love is Maren Ingeborg Gråblomst from @VillaBetulaBlog, with whom I’ve started the hashtah #darksideshow. If you are into Instagram, you can not have failed to noticed the abundance of white homes on there.
The tag #darksideshow is for people who love inky colour and creating dark and dramatic homes that stand out.
It’s all about decorating from your heart, capturing the light right and being creative with what you’ve got – and how to tweak it. Go tag, go follow!
